Why we call her the Cap'n
We get asked a lot why we named our pug Cap’n and today’s photo should provide all the necessary proof. Note the look on her face, which is saying, “yeah, those dogs behind me … losers. And I’d like to go home now.” Cappy has been in daycare a few extra days this week while I was travelling and while she’s good with her daycare homies, she does diss them a bit, and obviously thinks they way the lay together like that is lame.
(A few moments earlier she was laying with them, but wouldn't let on to that.)

Man, I love that shot of Cappy! Totally her in a cute attitude laden nutshell.

That is exactly why I snatched Chewie from Urban Pets in NYC. All the other dogs were always playing together or sleeping together, and there he was all alone with that look, which I at first mistook for him being such a calm, mellow, laid-back dog. I soon realized it was because he thought he was just a bit better than those other loser dogs.

Exactly! Cappy was the same way. At the kennel she was all calm and quite, then home, she’s the Captain!
