Cappy v. Recycling

It was a blustery, windy day and papers were flying all around from toppled over recycling bins. When Cappy discovered a safeway ad flyer in the backyard she was curious and then alarmed when she sniffed it and it flew up in the air. Floating around the yard, she watched the paper with increasing alertness. As it bobbed up and down, so did her little head, until the paper finally landed and she gave it a good sniff.

Why we call her the Cap'n

We get asked a lot why we named our pug Cap’n and today’s photo should provide all the necessary proof. Note the look on her face, which is saying, “yeah, those dogs behind me … losers. And I’d like to go home now.” Cappy has been in daycare a few extra days this week while I was travelling and while she’s good with her daycare homies, she does diss them a bit, and obviously thinks they way the lay together like that is lame.

(A few moments earlier she was laying with them, but wouldn't let on to that.)
