Saw this press release about Molly a pug that walks (and runs!) with a wheelchair and helps disabled kids. Molly's owner has launched a new website all about special dogs.

The Palm Beach Post reports on dogs that live the high-live in Florida. I suspect there's puppy paparazzi that follow them around from fashion show, to salon, the boutique. There may even be an equivalent Paris Hilton poodle.

Reading about Sandcastle Simplistic, [a pug from Blythewood](http://www.thestate.com/mld/thestate/13621599.htm) that's competing for best in show, reminded me how Cap'n also will do most anything for a treat. Sandcastle Simplistic works out on a treadmill for treats to stay in competitive shape.

Boing Boing reports on a pug that was stolen from a carnival by a carny and a whole community that's up in arms about it.

Cuteness Overload!

According to Cute Overload fuzz + floppy limbs = cute. And who's to argue with them. The floppy-tailed little pug had me squealing in delight for a full 30 seconds.

MeetUp Gets Puggy With It

MeetUp.com, which was one of the huge engines of Howard Dean's prominent campaign for the Democratic Presidential nomination in 2004 now organizes pug meetups on the first Saturday of every month. I'm not a pug owner myself, but that many adorable puppies in one place sounds like a great way to spend a Saturday to me. Maybe Byron would let me bring Cappy.
