Sprints Chair

Sprints in Chair Sprints was visiting us this weekend and she would just sit in the office and stare at me and periodically push the chair around. I finally figured out that she wanted up and to sit next to me. She slept on that chair for a few hours, then would jump down, play with Cap'n, etc.

Nintendogblog

Nintendo Pug A new blog that discusses Nintendo's puppy simulator is up and posting away. A quick check and yes!, there's a pug!

Pugs on Boing Boing!

Happy Cap Chris sent a post from Boing Boing that uses pugs to demonstrate what is and isn't black metal. When comparing and contrasting a topic, pugs make the perfect cute, fun, and lovable example. See, Pugs can't go goth or black, as they're just too happy all the time.

Peak-a-Pug

peak-a-pugCappy is just barely tall barely enough to see out the bay window and watch the neighborhood. She checks a few times a day and stretches all the way out to do it. On the occasion that she actually sees something, like a dog going by, she goes on full Pug alert and barks around the house until the threat passes.

Furry Survivors

Humane The NYTimes reports on pet shelters, heroic stories, and more rescues in New Orleans.

Pug Blog is donating to the Humane Society of the United States. I haven't seen any pugs in the coverage, but don't doubt they're trying to survive like everyone else.

Pet Rescues Begin

I've been haunted by much of Hurricane Katrina and the story of Snowball was even more upsetting. The media is just now starting to cover missing pets, including Pets Wait for Rescue, Too on Morning Edition. In all the coverage I didn't see any animals, anywhere. That's changing with good news coming in that pet rescue efforts are underway
