Bike Hugger Mixer -- our next event -- June 29th.The Bermuda Sun reports on a story with a happy pug ending.
Sarah Boxer of the NYTimes claims that cats are the internet's best friend and that, "dogs would never blog." Uhm, I don't know what parts of the blogosphere that Sarah has been clicking to, but she's missed all the dog blogging.
NASCAR.com interviews driver Jeremy Mayfield and he discusses all their pugs (and a Bulldog).
The Weekly reports on Pugfest 2005, a rescue fund raiser, in the Atlanta area.
The Cambridge Chronicle's Ask the Dog Lady column discussed Yuppy-puppy parties, "where people and their dogs are invited to sip and sup, and rais fund." I think Cappy would prefer a Pug Crawl over some fancy-pants dinner, but the causes are all good.
Never one to miss an opportunity to dress up, especially with the kids, Cap'n wore a pirate sash for the annual storming of the beach by the Seafair Pirates.
Riffing on Beck's Hell Yes, Cappy enters with some heavy panting and then punctuates the break beat with barks in the pugcast. Audio sample from Beck's Guero, composed by Beck Hansen, John King & Mike Simpson.
Pugcasts are available in the iTunes Podcasts directory.
Pugcasts are now available in the iTunes Podcasts directory. iTunes makes it easy to discover and enjoy podcasts, including the pugcast. It's as simple as shopping for music and it's all free.
As Eric Rice noted during our panel at Webvisions, "he chuckles whenever a pugcasts pops into his playlist on his iPod," especially during drive time.
Use this link to subscribe to the Pugcast our search the directory for, "Pugcast."
Another fun blog about pugs and this time it comes with a widget for OS X! Nice. Bubu added to the sidebar and I'm checking the widget. Hat tip TUAW.
In our second pugcast, Cap’n barks, snorts, snots, and sniffs along to a Ratatat Remix. That’s right, “when you hear dat!”. Full props to Ratatat.
I find that I'm much more productive with a pug as a laptop companion. She joins me whenever I work on the couch and rests her head on the edge of my Powerbook.
Cappy's a good traveler, in the car, around town, on the plane and at Grandma's house. Not so in a hotel room. We took her with us to Portland, Oregon, on a business trip and she was a Nervous Nelly. She protected us, all night long, from any sound she heard and barked out that window at the city below.
Out of the hotel room and in the city, she was fun, as seen in the photo. She just wasn't down with the hotel room sleeping experience.
