Yogi's Broken Tongue

Meet Yogi. He's a funny, chilled out 5-year old black pug with a broken tongue. He's also a local celebrity in the Nation's Capital who makes appearances at charity events, show-n-tell at local schools, and parties in the DC area.

I hope to see Yogi in a Gene Simmons outfit on a mock Kiss set.

Broken as in….can’t use…..or broken as in just really long and broken looking??

Good question. The owner explains that Yogi’s tongue was broken when he adopted him and the previous owners think he had a stroke. The tongue just hangs out, but works.

Yogi can use his tongue, it just won’t go in his mouth…ever! He can eat and drink he just makes a huge mess. He has to shove his little snout in his bowl and grab what he can. I give him a mix of hard and soft food. He lost most of his teeth out of the side of his mouth where the tongue hangs.

I have a black pug and her tongue sticks out!! Everyone comments on it and it just hangs out there allll the time! I cracked up when I saw this site. There is never a time when her tongue is not hanging out! Just had to tell you!!
