Races at the Pug Gala
We were outside working the crowd, promoting Pug Blog and Clip-n-Seals and didn't see the pug races, but just got the photo from Nancy Hood, the event Organizer. Nancy was thrilled to announce that the event raised over $15,000 to aid in the medical care of rescued and homeless pugs. Over 2,300 people were estimated to be in attendance and whopping 1,000 pugs, making it the most successful Seattle Pug Gala in the ten-year history of the event. We saw plenty of costumes, what appeared to be the world's fattest pug, and a pug impostor. The impostor resembled a pug and must've had pug lineage. I was like, "hmm," but then it's all about the love, so who cares -- impostor pug and owner got some free Clip-n-Seals, just like everyone else.

It’s a short sprint to the finish! Then out come the oxygen tanks and the applause is joined by a chorus of snorting and gasping!

That’s funny. I wasn’t sure if there was even a finish line as they seemed to all go in random directions. Captioning that photo would be fun.
